Airlines cut flights to Singapore and Bangkok due to fuel shortages and high prices

Several airlines are reducing or canceling flights to major Southeast Asian hubs like Singapore and Bangkok. The main reason is a shortage of jet fuel and the high cost of oil, which is making some routes too expensive to operate.

Vietnam Airlines is cutting both international and domestic flights. Another airline, Cebu Pacific, has stopped its flights from Iloilo in the Philippines to Singapore and Bangkok entirely, citing steep oil prices.
