Israel kills three more Palestinians in Gaza despite deal on next phase of ceasefire

In Gaza on 1 August 2026, Israeli strikes killed Palestinians across the territory, one day after Hamas agreed to disarm and after Trump announced a deal to advance the ceasefire. Reported death tolls ranged from two to 18. Strikes also destroyed medicine and medical supply warehouses, including a hospital warehouse.

An Israeli minister said there is no deal to halt attacks. Separately, 112 bodies, including children, were recovered from homes destroyed during the war in Gaza.
