Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he secretly visited the United Arab Emirates during the recent war with Iran, meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Netanyahu's office confirmed the visit, claiming it was conducted covertly with the involvement of Mossad and Shin Bet.
The UAE government, however, denied that any such meeting took place. The conflicting accounts have created confusion, as the visit was reportedly part of an operation called "Operation Roaring Lion." No independent confirmation of the visit has emerged.
