Afghanistan and Pakistan Agree to Avoid Escalation in China-Hosted Talks

Afghanistan and Pakistan held talks hosted by China and agreed to avoid escalation after weeks of border fighting. According to China, the two sides agreed to explore a comprehensive peace solution to end tensions. Kabul described the talks as useful. The agreement was announced by Beijing.
