UN Chief Urges Lifting of All Syria Sanctions During Visit

The UN chief called for the immediate removal of all sanctions on Syria during the second day of a visit to the country. Syria's al-Sharaa outlined his government's approach to security with Israel and Lebanon, and hailed Erdoğan's role in lifting US sanctions. Meanwhile, Iran's supreme leader Khamenei reaffirmed support for Hezbollah and demanded an end to Israeli attacks on Lebanon. Syria said it does not plan military intervention in Lebanon.
