EU extends sanctions on Russia and proposes pipeline inspection mission

The European Union has moved to prolong its sanctions against Russia until mid-September, with Slovakia dropping its previous block on the renewal. The EU also proposed a mission to inspect the Druzhba oil pipeline, asking Ukraine to allow access to oversee the damaged infrastructure.
