French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte visited the Vatican, where Macron met with Pope Leo XIV. The couple was also in Rome, where they greeted people at a hotel but did not answer reporters' questions. Brigitte Macron wore an all-black outfit for the state visit.
