EU fines Temu over $230 million for illegal product sales

The European Union has fined the Chinese online marketplace Temu more than $230 million (€200 million) for failing to prevent the sale of illegal products on its platform. The penalty targets unsafe toys and other non-compliant goods that were sold to EU consumers.
