Google expands AI features in search and personal tools across the US

Google is rolling out its personalized Gemini AI assistant, called Personal Intelligence, to all users in the United States. At the same time, the company is developing options to let users opt out of AI features in search, likely in response to regulatory concerns in places like the UK. The company also made a key hire, bringing in Bridgewater's chief scientist Sekhon to join its DeepMind AI unit.
