Pakistan and Muslim countries condemn Israel's outreach to Somaliland

Pakistan and other Muslim-majority countries have strongly condemned a visit by Israel's foreign minister to Somaliland. They object to Israel's efforts to establish diplomatic relations with the breakaway region, which Somalia claims as its own territory.

Separately, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) stated it needs a voting majority of its members to recognize Venezuela's government before it can restore formal ties with the country.
