Erdogan Calls for Wider Mecca Defence Pact and Support for Palestine

Turkish President Erdogan said Israel is trying to remove Palestine from the world's agenda and called support for Palestine a shared responsibility of all humanity. He said the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement, involving Türkiye, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, is open to all sisterly nations that wish to join, and that its vision extends beyond those three countries. Erdogan also urged swift reconstruction of Gaza and condemned Israeli violations.
