At least 50 soldiers killed in Mali jihadist attack

At least 50 soldiers were killed in a jihadist and Tuareg attack in northern Mali on July 19, 2026. The attack targeted Malian military forces in the region. Islamist and separatist groups jointly carried out the assault. This is one of the deadliest attacks on the Malian army in recent months.
