France says it won't join military operation to open Hormuz Strait

French President Emmanuel Macron stated that France will not participate in any military operation to unblock the Hormuz Strait while hostilities continue. He said France is not a party to the current conflict and that any such mission would require coordination with Iran. Foreign Minister Saar told his French counterpart that the Hormuz crisis is a global issue.
