Hungary blocks European Union loan for Ukraine

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has refused to agree to a 90-billion-euro loan from the European Union to Ukraine. This has prevented the EU from moving forward with the financial aid package, leading to a standoff among the bloc's leaders.

Other EU leaders, including Poland's Donald Tusk, have criticized the move and are trying to find a way to get the loan approved. They have vowed to push the funding through despite the blockade, but a breakthrough has not yet been achieved.
