Azerbaijan's President Aliyev Addresses SCO Plus Meeting

President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan addressed the SCO Plus format meeting. He called for the development of appropriate mechanisms for the swift implementation of UN Security Council resolutions. Aliyev stated that Azerbaijan will continue to contribute to strengthening multilateralism in international affairs. He also said the Treaty on Allied Relations has elevated Azerbaijani-Kyrgyz relations to the highest level. According to Aliyev, the South Caucasus region, once a zone of long-lasting conflict, is becoming a zone of peace.
