Panama's Supreme Court has ruled that the contracts allowing a Hong Kong-based company to operate ports at both ends of the Panama Canal are unconstitutional. The court ordered the government to cancel the concessions held by CK Hutchison, a major port operator. This decision removes the company from running the critical Atlantic and Pacific port terminals for the canal.
